The Leader That Inspires Me -Barrack Obama

Over the millennium, there were and still are many leaders emerging from various societies and background. Each and every leader has his or her specific personal contribution to the society. Every leader has their followers and communities whom look up to them. Not just their famous names, but, their outstanding behaviour, characteristics, doings, career, history, and contributions has made them reach great heights in life, as well in hearts of the people.

Obviously, among all leaders, there will surely be one among all that truly inspires an individual. As for me, the leader whom inspired and still inspires me until the present day is Americas 44^th president, Mr. Barrack Hussein Obama.

WHY ? Out of the long list of world leaders, why did I choose him ?.

Well, Barrack Obama inspired the entire nation when he became the first “black’ president to make a stand in the white house. Through his Campaigns , speeches, and election efforts he managed to grab the president chair with a total of 322 votes that won over the republican whom had only 206 votes. Upon winning, Barack Obama made a stand as one of Americas Best President as he brought some changes into the system which made the United States as well as the entire world a better place. Among his tireless efforts were,

· - Announced Unequivocal End to Torture, Ordered the Closing of Guantanamo and theClosing of Secret Prisons

· - Improved Relations with Iran

· - Improved U.S. Policy on Climate Change

· - Improved Relations with Russia

· - Made the Rights of Women around the World a Core Component of U.S. Foreign Policy

· - Improved Relations with the Islamic World

· - Made Progress towards Greater Cooperation on Limiting Nuclear Proliferation

· - The Affordable Care Act (“Obama care”)

· - Tax and budget compromises

· - Speaking frankly about racism

· - Civil rights for gays and lesbians

· - Immigration policy

· - Normalization of U.S. relations with Cuba

· - The appointment of (at least) two Supreme Court justices

As it clearly states, as a professional, as a President, he carried out his task very well, took care of the country, of the world, and, ensured peace throughout his presidency for 2 semesters.

Besides acting as a professional, Barack Obama is also carries out a healthy lifestyle by maintaining a good relationship and bonding with his wife and children. By watching interviews, articles and magazine, it has been clearly stated that he is a good family man. Despite his busy schedule, and his role as the worlds’ most important person, he buys some times for family, nourish them with love and care, portraying a loving husband character as well as monitoring his children’s’ progress in education and in their daily routine. This amazing character teaches all men to equally divide time between career and personal life.

In addition, Barrack Obama is well known for his humble, and polite spoken behavior towards all individuals despite rank, role, and status. He treats the janitor the same way he treats his secretary. No discrimination and lack of respect. He gives great interviews, treat everyone with respect, entertain others’ ideas and questions without denial and always putting on a smile on his face. This taught me on how to respect all classes of people despite being too arrogant or snobbish.
