Sir Alexander Chapman Ferguson, is a Scottish former football manager and player who managed Manchester United from 1986 to 2013. He is regarded by many players, managers and analysts to be one of the greatest and most successful managers of all time. Ferguson played as a forward for several Scottish clubs, including Dunfermline Athletic and Rangers. While playing for Dunfermline, he was the top goalscorer in the Scottish league in the 1965–66 season. Towards the end of his playing career he also worked as a coach, then started his managerial career with East Stirlingshire and St Mirren.
Ferguson was appointed manager of Manchester United in November 1986. During his 26 years with Manchester United he won 38 trophies, including 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups and two UEFA Champions League titles. He was knighted in the 1999 Queen's Birthday Honours list, for his services to the game. Ferguson is the longest serving manager of Manchester United, having overtaken Sir Matt Busby's record on 19 December 2010. He retired from management at the end of the 2012–13 season, having won the Premier League in his final season.
Ferguson was very famous among people who were craze in football during the early of 2000. He was like a King in English Premiere League. Why I admire him because whenever we see football matches we have noticed that the coaches of the teams will running here and there and give the comments as well as shout at the players if they did any mistake. But, Ferguson is not like that. He will come to the match and sit at his place and enjoy the match with a chewing gum in his mouth. That is his way. It will be kinda cool when we notify it and he will make us think how he manage the match by sitting at one place with chewing gum in his mouth. There are moments he come down and talk to his players but during those moments he still will be relax. I never see he give up in any match even though he lose. He sure prove it in the next game. He still hold the achievement of most consecutive wins in EPL during he managing Manchester United. Till now he is the one of the most favourite coach among Manchester united fans and for me too. We can also hear that other club fans also praising him for his brilliance and skills.
