The Greatest Shooter In NBA History

Many of us did not know well about basketball players because it's not the main sport in Malaysia. But the person that I admire the most is one of the famous basketball players in the world. Stephen Curry. Born 14 March 1988 at Ohio, America. He is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

He and his younger brother, Seth Curry also a basketball player were the son of former NBA player Dell Curry. He is married with her wife, Ayesha Curry and had a daughter, Riley Curry. He started playing basketball during his college time with Davidson Wildcats. His father often take him and Seth to basketball games where they will practice and shoots with his father team, Charlotte Hornets.

Before joining Golden State Warriors, Curry's first experience with the United States national team came at the 2007 FIBA Under-19 World Championship, where he helped Team USA capture the silver medal. Later in 2010, he was selected to the senior squad, playing limited minutes at the 2010 FIBA World Championship as the United States won the gold medal in an undefeated tournament.

Curry starts playing for Golden State Warriors since 2009 until present at the point guard position. He's awarded NBA All-Rookie First Team (2010) during his early career. In May 2011, Curry had surgery on his right ankle causing him to stop playing for a while until he's healed and he sprained it again causing him another surgery in April 2012.

Prior to the start of the 2012–13 season, Curry get back on track and make a comeback during the season until now. He choose not to give up and keep training even after he had injury and surgery before. This is the reason why I admired him. He's awarded with the following award:

  • 2× NBA champion (2015, 2017)
  • 2× NBA Most Valuable Player (2015, 2016)
  • 5× NBA All-Star (2014–2018)
  • 2× All-NBA First Team (2015, 2016)
  • NBA scoring champion (2016)
  • NBA steals leader (2016)
