Personally ive been in Subang Jaya for 2 years to be
exact. I was a student there once before enrolling in ALAM. As a student the
only best friend to accompany you during your late night studies or last minute
preparations is our delicious, mouth watering food and snacks. Well, after
intense and careful surveying, i would like to share the best place to go to
when you are in Subang Jaya.
1. Dal.Komm Coffee SS15.
This is a Korean brand cafe which serves the best
coffee, both iced and hot. It has a unique taste to it as in is all organic and
good for our health. Not the coffee alone, the shop also offers a sweet and
chilling desert called the Bingsu. It is a huge bowl filled with blended ice
and the topping of your choice. I personally prefer the Apple and Vanilla
Bingsu and it really satisfies my sweet-tooth. Beside that, there is also their
signature Toast Bread topped off with some ice cream. Superb place for a catch
up or even a date. The environment in the cafe is very pleasing as it plays the
song of your choice.
2. Good Friends SS15.
I was visiting from the states and found this place.
I went with my friend who lives in the area, and it was the BEST breakfast. If
I lived locally I would go every week, I had waffles draped in fruit which made
its own natural syrup that was also served with homemade whipped cream :) My
friend had scrambled eggs with cheese and heart shaped waffles, with a side of
potatoes. Aside from the amazing flavor, the presentation was AMAZING. I
accompanied my meal with a latte that was designed with a peacock SUPER CUTE!
They also have fresh home made juices!!! if you are anywhere near here I would
suggest stopping in to eat, the staff is sooo pleasant and attentive. I know
you will love everything about it, as we did.
3. Big Hug Burger.
I came with around 10 of my friends to celebrate a
friend's birthday. There was no problem finding car park here, as there are
basement car parks, outdoor ones and even those by the road. The restaurant is
easy to find, and really cool. I love the decor, with the big teddy bears. Food
was quite good. I'm not a big fan of burger, but I shared an Extra Large burger
with my friend, and we agree that the cheesy burger (I cannot remember the
name) is really delicious. They also offer free flow of drinks if you get the
set, but maybe they should have normal water there too instead of just soft
drinks. Service is good, and the waiters are quite friendly too.
As a conclusion, SS15 is one of those places where
you can get any type of food you can imagine. I personally would recommend all
of you to spend the weekend in SS15 just to give your taste buds a real
challenge.
