You may have a good resume but how to properly email it to your respective addressee? Do you need to have a long introduction? Or just email it without any concern on the subjects and introduction?
1st of all, without proper subject or rubbish introduction your email might just ended up in the spam box or been deleted or ignored.
Here some tips, in the subject, you should put the main objectives or purposes you are emailing that person. In example, if you are proposing a position in a company, you should state the position that you are interested. Please dont leave the subject blank!
For introduction, please address the person you are emailing first. If you know the position of the person, address him/her by their position such as Dr, Sir, Madam, Dato, Tan Sri and etc. If you dont know, do some research then.
Please no need to introduce any details on your personal information. Enough with your name, your educational qualification, any related documents on hands on qualification, your last instituition and the purpose of your email. Don't forget on mentioning your contact details.
Don't discuss on your previous company problem or your expected salary. Avoid mentioning about the salary or the reason why you are leaving your previous conpany. Enough with a little introduction and attached your complete resume, supporting letters and CVs if any.
Lastly, please appreciate the addressee for spending time reading your email. A little appreciation words might change their moods due to hectic days of processing emails. Never expected they are reading your email only. They might have hundreds of email to read.
Good luck :)
