Rice Inside a Bamboo Trunk!
Well! This is basically a traditional food for the Malay Race in Malaysia to called
ππ" Lemang! "ππ
You'll usually see this being made during festive seasons typically during Edi Fitr or Edi Adha!
Now! You might be asking...." It's not just rice is it? "
Well.. Your correct! Its a mixture of coconut milk and glutinous rice! To contain the mixture we use banana leaves.
Now as you can see from the pictures~ To cook it you need to make a big fire and use the heat to cook them! And the process usually takes about 4-5 hours to cook but in some cases when the spot is kinda windy it can drag up to 7 hour!
BUT! Its a good experience!And its one of those activities where we Malays can tighten ties with our relatives!
