After we complete semester 2 final examinations successfully, we got to attend and complete the ACAS course for one month as a refreshment for us before going onboard for our shipboard training. Capt.Monir tookd his responsibilities to scheduled well to test our competency level in various aspects, such as Seagull CBT training, workshop, simulator training and so one.
This course was so effective and also efficient for us to recall back whatever we have learnt so far in semester 1 and 2. It was fun, exciting and we also gained a lot of extra knowledge as a seaman. We were brought to the bridge simulator where we have never been before and also had a clear vision of what is really on ships and how to use it properly with the right procedures.
It was really awesome experience for us thoughout the ACAS course. Its was so beneficial especially to our friends who is going for sailing this year onwards.
