It was a tough time for us as junior cadets. We were pushed to our limits and were forced to cross our boundaries. No matter physically or mentally, we had to go through through it. As a future seafarer, it is vital to have a strong mental and physical body to endure all the hardships that we are going to face on board of a ship one day. For me it was a challenge like never before. It was like climbing a mountain without any help or guidance. It was the i found my new family.
My new family also referring to my new friends, who were with me through thick and thin. We went through all kind of misery together. Shedding tears when we were in pain, lending a shoulder when one needed it to lie on, giving motivation to each other to never give up and also never leaving the weakest behind, instead they followed the weakest all the way to the end. These are the people i call family. Although my real family if far away from me, but these guys help me fill up their absences with their presence.
Not only in daily activities, they were also around to guide each other in academic matters. Each were a professional in their own subjects and they shared their knowledge and experience without any hesitation. Due to each others efforts and contribution we were able to score with flying colors. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends in helping me to get through my junior year and so on.
