FORUM ON DRUG AWARENESS IN AKADEMI LAUT MALAYSIA
On 27th of July, ALAM organised a campaign known as QHSSE Day to create awareness about safety life and importance of it.Its a annual campaign organised by ALAM on every July of the year. One of the program was developed by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and involves a research-centric guide for communities, parents and educators to assist in drug-awareness education.
Around 9 in the morning, a forum on drug awareness had been prepared by management with representatives from PETRONAS , Drug agency and from PDRM.
The event started with introduction from each party.Then, they had a discussion on our career related to this drug awareness.It was very helpful for the cadets to know about the danger of the drugs and its effects.The cadets had a clear picture about the types of drugs till the methods used to create it.It was more useful when Dr.Shamsul asked a lot of questions related to the topic to deliver us more information about the misuses and disadvantages of drugs. Nevertheless, few cadets stood up and asked questions to the respective personnel.
Finally,the forum was ended with a souvenir giving ceremony as a token of appreciation to the representatives.
